You started caring for my darling Trish at the end of April with two of your registered nurses visiting her at home and then when her treatment became more intensive, you were able to admit her as a patient at St. Wilfrid’s on 30th April. I cannot thank all your staff enough for the nursing care, from consultants, doctors, all the nurses and catering and cleaning staff – too many to mention by name – which made her as comfortable as possible.
I am numb right now after she passed away on Sunday evening 19th May and Will and I were with her holding her and speaking gently so we hope she took comfort from that. I can’t measure her loss to me, Will, Liz, Joshi and Ella – she was my perfect companion and I will always live with happy memories of how bright and beautiful she was.
Thank you to all my family and friends who have strengthen me with love and support and thank you to St. Wilfrid’s for their amazing hospice and team.
